New Ward, New Habits, New Beginnings?

Yesterday we to all three blocks (a big feat for me!) of our new ward. It is really hard for me to sit through all 3 blocks, but since we are homeowners now I really wanted to change that so I prepped myself all week about how excited I was to sit through three hours of church. And it worked! I don't know if it was my attitude or the fact that we are rooted homeowners now and not just another newly married couple "squatting" in a ward, but our reception at this ward was much different than any other ward we've been to. Already we have been introduced to more people than in the entire 6 months we were in our old ward. We even got treats brought to us by Mormon neighbors across the street. Relief society was great, too. I haven't been able to go for so long since we've been in primary. I am looking forward to becoming more of a permanent fixture in this ward!

It really makes such a difference when you have great people in the ward. I'm glad you have a good one!
And good Darc for staying all three hours!!!!

Way to make a new start. We feel the same about our ward here! I seriously only had a couple of friends in the last ward, here I have a million (well maybe not that many, but you get the idea).

Way to go! When you know you're going to be some place for a while, it really helps to make the effort. I know it will pay off!
