Hello dear and beloveds. For those of you who know me, I LOVE dresses! Before I had the privelige beingof becoming Mrs. Nathan Parrish, I had tons of them, many of them pretty dang short, too (how do you think I snagged my man?!). Well as you can imagine my dress wardrobe has slimmed down quite a bit in an effort to be more modest. This makes me sad! I don't want to be one of those girls who looks super gay because they are trying ever so hard to get away with inmodest clothes while adhereing to a self imposed dress code, but I also don't want to look like a sister missionary. Ya know what I mean? (No offense to either of these groups)
Well, being the daughter of my mother (a master at taking junk and turning it into treasures) I have determined to take all of my inmodest and outdated dresses I've been holding onto for the past year and make modest and modern modifications to them. I've had a lot of success in the past with this and wanted to chronicle my sewing journey. I've got a few projects underway and can't wait to share my progress, that is if I can get my sewing machine to work. Posts with pictures are soon to come!

Hello friends and happy Easter
Hi I hope you all had a great Easter. Mine was the bomb.com. The Easter bunny came for a visit gave us some bomb gifts this year. For the past year, Nathan has been talking/hinting at getting
a Mini Mac and using our tv as a giant monitor for it.
So I went to the Apple store and told them I was getting my husband a new computer for Easter and the guys working there asked what I did for him for Christmas. I only get these big presents when when he begs for them for a year! Nate's face lit up like a Christmas tree when he got his Easter basket and his present for me was just as good.
Nathan gave me the coolest present, tickets to the M. Ward concert in Tucson! If you don't know who M. Ward is, he is an awesome rock and roller, and one half of the band She & Him with Zooey Deschanel (The girl from Elf), but this concert was just of him. It was a great concert all of the songs were perfect. It was well worth the two hour drive and battling all of the drunks that were there for the Campus Club Crawl. I highly suggest you check out some M. Ward!
Also, I wanted to share with you one of our current obsessions.
